No. 4 - Dennis Kozlowski, Tyco Dennis Kozlowski came from the wrong side of the tracks, but worked his way up to the top of a fortune 500 company. His humble beginnings may have made his fall from grace all the more poignant. Following investigations into his lavish personal spending -- including a $6,000 shower curtain -- Kozlowski was convicted in 2005 of fraud and grand larceny in connection with at least $400 million in lost company funds. He was sentenced to up to 25 years in prison.
