Ted Bundy's Volkswagen

1. Ted Bundy's Volkswagen

Used in Bundy's 1970s-era killing spree, this aged Volkswagen was the site where many of his victims met their demise. On August 15, 1975, Bundy fled from police in the tan Beetle, still carrying the crow bar and ice pick used in his killings. After searching the car, police not only found blood under the door panel but the hair of three missing women, linking him to a string of missing women in Colorado and Utah. Finally convicted in March 1976 for aggravated kidnapping, Bundy managed to escape prison twice and murder three more women before his execution in 1989.
