Murder victims of the "Manson Family."  The LaBiancas were in the grocery business and coincidentally lived next door to a home where the "Family" had once attended a party.  In the early hours of Aug. 10, 1969, members of the "Family" entered the house and bound and gagged the couple and stabbed them repeatedly to death.  Their son and Rosemary's daughter discovered the bodies the next day.  It took months before authorities connected the Tate murders to the LaBianca murders as no apparent link existed.  The connection between the two cases was made when "Family" member Susan Atkins, already in prison for unrelated crimes, bragged to fellow inmates about the Tate and LaBianca murders.  Leno LaBianca was buried in Los Angeles, Calif., and his wife Rosemary was cremated.
