Related LinksMurder victim of the "Manson Family." 18-year-old Parent had given a ride to the Cielo Drive caretaker, William Garretson in July, and on the night of the Tate murders had returned to the home to try to sell Garretson a radio. Around 12:15 a.m. Parent left the home and upon exiting was stopped by "Family" member Charles "Tex" Watson. Watson shot him four times, resulting in Parent’s death. His funeral was held on Aug. 13, 1969, and he was buried in California. |
