Dr. Michelle Ward is a seasoned Trial Consultant who is regularly sought to assist in criminal and civil trials of some of the nation's most notorious offenders. Dr. Ward holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Neuroscience/ Psychology and has studied predatory criminals and the judicial system for over a decade.
While providing strategy for the first Phil Spector celebrity murder trial, Dr. Ward became a regular commentator on multiple news channels including Investigation Discovery, TruTV and CNN. She continues to make regular guest appearances to discuss the criminal mind and jury behavior in high-profile trials. Additionally, Dr. Ward hosts STALKED: SOMEONE'S WATCHING, which airs weekly on Investigation Discovery and is currently in its second season.
Dr. Ward's unique experience bridges the divide between the psychological and legal communities. She has published scientific articles on complex human behavior and her unique studies into genetic influences on psychopathic behavior in a population of children. Through this research, Dr. Ward became one of the first scientists to study risk factors in potential future predators. As a result of the findings, research can now be directed at early recognition and behavior modification for at-risk individuals.
