A Fleeting ChildhoodBorn Vickie Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967 in Harris County, Texas, Anna Nicole was raised by her mother, Virgie Mae, after her parents divorced. When sent to live with her aunt in Mexia, Texas, Anna Nicole subsequently dropped out of high school and began work at a Jim's Krispy Chicken Shack. It was here that she met her first husband, 16-year-old Billy Wayne Smith, a cook at the restaurant. The two were married in 1985 when Anna Nicole was just 17 years old.
